Football's Folly

I noticed on Yahoo's Sports page this morning that Florida was given a headline for "destroying" the Citadel. I find that somewhat funny. Weren't they supposed to "destroy" them? Didn't Auburn get bypassed for a shot at the national title game despite being undefeated simply because their nonconference schedule included teams like the Citadel? Due to time restraints, I must be brief. But let me just say this is yet another reminder of the biases in all forms of media. If Florida had any class, which they've never appeared to want, they would have shaken hands with the Citadel players and thanked them for making them look good. If the media had any sense, they would have just given this story 2 or 3 sentences...and let it go. If Florida had any sense, they would not have been celebrating like they had beaten the 94 Huskers...wait a minute...didn't the 94 Huskers destroy the Gators??? Now that's a pleasant, unbiased thought!
